Book Review: Plain Jane

I could not stand this book, I had to force myself to finish it. All of the male characters were misogynistic pigs and the leading female character was a complete idiot. The profiler guy leaves her and almost destroys her career completely and she doesn’t hear from him for 2 years. You don’t find out until later in the book – and I’m talking the last 5 or so chapters – why he went away and why he was in the mental institution that the book description says.

The killer is stalking their victims and stealing their uteri which is incredibly disgusting in and of itself, but the profiler gets into the mind set of the killer and even goes so far as to stake out the morgue so he can check to see if the latest victim has her uterus or not…and you can guess how he figures that out!
