This book was complete nonsense. I only bought it (and it was $0!) because of the whole #cockygate thing going on in the author world right now and the author made a special note about it at the end of the synopsis on Amazon. It is terribly written and I didn’t even get halfway through the book before I gave up.
This book was alright, I usually like the sports romance books and this one didn’t disappoint! The only thing I found weird was that Bryce’s entire family were famous for some sport or the other. I know it’s supposed to go into a series of books but it’s just weird to me. I did like how the heroin Tami was trying to make it on her own with no help from anyone, but then after 1 tournament was all “I’m totally ok for them footing the bill for this!” um that’s a big turn around and only after 1 weekend? I just didn’t buy it. I was also hoping there would be more conflicts for them to overcome but there wasn’t anything big so the plot line kind of fell flat for me.
The writing style was annoying to me that’s why I rated it so low. The story was there but the writing was just not up to par with what I’m used to, and the plot line not having anything big happen was annoying.
